Dr. Milena Esherick is a licensed clinical psychologist and Director of Counseling Psychology at the Wright Institute in Berkeley, California. For over 15 years she has worked in a variety of community and medical settings helping people achieve healthy eating and lifestyle changes. She volunteers with the non-profit organization Oakland Veg to promote the wide-ranging benefits of a plant-based diet. As an HSUS State Council Member, Dr. Esherick helps educate Californians about animal welfare issues and pass laws that protect animals.
