One in six Americans live in poverty, and 60 percent of Americans have at least one pet. Clearly, poverty has a large impact on dogs and cats every day. Develop a better understanding of what this means for companion animals in your community, learn how to reach underserved audiences of pet owners, and hear what local organizations can do provide information and resources to owners in need.
